We are thrilled to release the latest gem in the Erika Luckett collection! This one, another dynamic collaboration with powerhouse vocalist, Lisa Ferraro, takes the intimacy of two voices, Erika's innovative guitar arrangements, and offers fresh turns on many favorites. The CD release concert takes place at the Freight and Salvage on Aug. 5, 2010 at 8:00. Tickets can be purchased online. To get a taste of what's to come, here's a clip from the duo's performance at NWMF over the fourth of July weekend in Madison, WI.
Erika Luckett and Lisa Ferraro are joining an inspired group of performers on June 21 at the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery to raise funds for the Gulf Resoration Network, a grassroots coalition that protects and restores the Gulf Region. The concert arose in response to a Sioux Elder's call for an international day of prayer for the Gulf Region. Other performing artists include: Eve Decker, Betsy Rose, Naomi Newman, Alan Senauke, and Rev. Heng Sure. Celebrate Summer Solstice by honoring the earth and supporting this region in need.
There are new musical blossoms on the horizon. Songs are unfurling in the studio. Harmonies are being etched and grooves are cooking over the flame. While the world outside bursts into colors, Erika deepens in the creative journey with new musical adventures. Check out her new project with Lisa Ferraro. The new album is due to be released in August. Stay tuned! In the meantime, catch a SHOW and experience the beauty in person!
