Your percussive style and your angelic voice are an entrancing combination.

Your journal entry speaking of the silent mind reminds of the great Mater Tarah Singh who described a similar idea this way;

Come to that still mind, drop everything for a moment.
With a still mind. A still mind looks at something without naming it, without fragmenting.

The minute we start naming it we give it a meaning.

Listen for you own body sound. Then when listening to someone else, can come to the same stillness, you can hear them, come to the same stillness, therefore heed what the other is saying without any opinion or judgment.

When our minds are crowded we don’t have the space to give to another.

But you give this space to another person without any thought, without any judgment, by just listening, otherwise you are interpreting as they are speaking.

Two process are going on, one our ears are hearing, and two, the brain is agreeing and disagreeing.
We have to bring that interpretation to stillness.

Thought has the tendency to exaggerate the importance of some things.

All the burden of knowing,
Innocence is very beautiful

This tendency to make distinctions is what separates, and we call that knowing.
No wonder I don’t understand anything I see, I just divide things. This is mine, this is yours. The thought process divides everything, then we give it a name, and some attributes, then we think we understand, but we don’t.

When the mind is still there is no judgment in it. You will grow a century. You cannot be what you were yesterday, it’s a million years gone if you hear this. Who wants to read an old newspaper.

Aren’t you glad you’re moving towards humility rather than the arrogance of knowing, that has us in it’s bondage?

It’s not yours it just is. And you can be grateful for that.

Thank you for inspiring us last night, for "embodying" power and beauty and inspiration and spirit and kindness and how we can be bigger and better than we might imagine ourselves to be. I sat with chills and tears and a smile bigger than the state of Texas.

"Sacred" is in constant rotation on my CD player. Background music to my day, the ocean my heart longs to swim in. Thanks much to you and Lisa for giving me this divine stream of the Infinite.

I compare our experience with you this past weekend to that of simulation of taking that first step off that 100 foot pole .......... we send our thanks, appreciation, gratitude and unending thoughts for your outstanding performance at the Big Mind/Big Heart conference in NY. Your presence and spectacular performance for all of us was a gift that few ever expected ...... with that said we express to you our thoughts and feelings for what we have experienced and for what it shall continue to do in the future as Marcia and I continue to practice Big Mind/Big Heart on a daily basis. I just heard you perform at the Big Mind conference here in NY. I can hear people talk about "being" enlightened, and then I witness those who embody the "wholeness", "the oneness," the "is-ness." Thank you for modeling that presence, for reminding us that its there, always. What an "unexpected" treasure you are.
I look forward to seeing you again in the Big Apple or somewhere else in the vast cosmosphere.
